CFB WEEK 11 SB POLL COLUMN
OSU shows why they have the highest ceiling of any team; Oklahoma gets exposed by Baylor; Michigan escapes Penn State
The Buckeyes put on a show in the Shoe on Saturday against the best Purdue team I have seen in my life. All of my feelings were validated. This team has the highest ceiling in college football and that is a large part of the reason why I had them at No. 1 for the past few weeks, even after the disappointing wins against Penn State and Nebraska. When the receivers play like that, nobody will be able to stop OSU. The pass defense was a little concerning, but it really won’t matter if the offense plays like that

TEAM ANALYSIS:
— Baylor really impressed me, HC Dave Aranda is doing a hell of a job. The Bears better hope he doesn’t leave them for LSU. Oklahoma couldn’t stop the Baylor run game and only put up 14 points (7 of them being a garbage time TD). They had Caleb Williams in hell. With the way Oklahoma has played the last few weeks, I am not sure if they would even beat Oklahoma State. Never trust an Alex Grinch-led defense is the moral of the story
— Jim Harbaugh earned himself some much-needed job security with Michigan’s win in Happy Valley. The PSU win is monumental for the program, Harbaugh finally won a big game. David Ojabo and Aidan Hutchinson are dominating games, they are really the only players that scare me. Cade had another solid game. Losing Blake Corum for the regular season is a huge blow, but Haskins is easily good enough. Michigan is likely going to go 10-2 and make an NY6 bowl.
— Purdue gave up 59 points, but their air-raid offense is forreal. O’Connell is so accurate and makes all the right reads. They showed me that they are a top 20 team
— The only thing that really concerned me against Purdue was the lack of a pass-rush. Also, there is absolutely no reason Bryson Shaw should ever see the field again for the Buckeyes. Sevyn Banks had a horrible game as well. All in all, none of that really matters when the offense plays as well they did. That was the best I have seen Garrett Wilson play. JSN and Olave were spectacular as always. Stroud played arguably his best game. The run game showed out, if that happens in every game, nobody will beat this team. I think there’s a good chance that the Buckeyes play Oregon again in the CFP semifinal, assuming they both win out.
Heisman Watch:
1. Bryce Young
2. CJ Stroud
3. Kenneth Walker III
— I think the race will come down to how well CJ and Bryce play in the next three weeks, it’s neck and neck at the moment
